Every year in the month of June, Marrakech vibrates to the rhythm of its Folklore festival, which takes place in the context of the imperial El Badi Palace, a magnificent building whose immense courtyard is covered with colorful rugs and traditional decor, ready to receive musicians, singers, dancers, all from the world of art and popular tradition of Morocco, not to mention the thousands of spectators who came from everywhere to enjoy these great moments.
This event brings together a mix of artists from the ritual dances of the Atlas, to the original Saharan Africa as the Dekkah, and Guedra or even the ritual dances of the Gnawa, heirs of the mystical ceremonies animist cults of black Africa.
