Breakfast at the hotel and morning dedicated to the discovery of the economic capital of the country. We will visit Mohamed V Square<\/a><\/strong>, the Central Market<\/a><\/strong>, the Habous district<\/a><\/strong>, and the Hassan II Mosque<\/a><\/strong> from the outside. Seafood lunch along the Corniche<\/strong> (optional). Departure for Rabat<\/a><\/strong>, the White Imperial city. After breakfast, departure for Meknes<\/a><\/strong>, another imperial city characterized by 40 kilometers of ramparts, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site<\/a><\/strong> in 1996. Upon arrival, visit the city with the magnificent Bab Mansour Gate<\/a><\/strong>, the royal stables of Moulay Ismail<\/strong>, the medina, and the Jewish quarter. Lunch (optional). In the early afternoon, continuation of the tour with a visit to the Roman ruins of Volubilis<\/a><\/strong>, founded by the Carthaginians in the 3rd century BC and conquered by the Romans in 40 AD, until the arrival of the Berbers in 280 AD. This site has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Continue to Fes<\/a><\/strong>. Arrival, hotel accommodation, dinner, and overnight. Breakfast at the hotel. The day will be entirely dedicated to visiting Fes<\/strong>, the oldest of the imperial cities, founded in 790 by Moulay Idriss II<\/a><\/strong>. Fes immediately became the main religious center of Morocco. Visit the medieval Medina<\/a><\/strong>, the Medersas<\/a><\/strong> (ancient Islamic religious universities) Bou Inania<\/strong> and Al-Attarine<\/strong>, the Karaouine Mosque<\/a><\/strong>, and the famous Nejjarine Fountain<\/a><\/strong>. Continue with a visit to the souks, one of the most beautiful and lively markets in Morocco. Lunch in a restaurant in the Medina (optional). Continuation of the visit in the afternoon. Dinner based on traditional dishes in a local restaurant. Overnight at the hotel.<\/span><\/p>\n

Day 4 : Fes<\/strong> \u2013 Cedar Forest<\/strong> \u2013 Azrou<\/strong> \u2013 Erfoud<\/strong> \u2013 Merzouga<\/strong> (450km)<\/h3>\n

Breakfast at the hotel. Early in the morning, departure to reach Erfoud<\/a><\/strong>, an oasis at the gates of the desert. The road heads into the hills of the Middle Atlas<\/a><\/strong> passing through a cedar forest<\/a><\/strong>. You will see the alpine-style roofs typical of the town of Ifrane<\/a><\/strong>. Stop at a protected area for a fun walk among the cedars and the many monkeys playing in the branches. Continue to Azrou<\/strong>, a pretty village located at an altitude of 1,250 meters, surrounded by mountains planted with oaks and cedars, giving it a special charm. Stop for lunch (optional).<\/span><\/p>\n

Continue to Errachidia<\/a><\/strong> and the Ziz Valley<\/a><\/strong> until you reach the pre-Saharan village of Erfoud<\/strong>, the famous city of dates where an annual festival is held every October. In the early morning, visit the Kasbah Taourirt<\/a><\/strong> and Kasbah Tifeltout<\/strong>. Continue to Ait Benhaddou<\/a><\/strong>, the most spectacular fortified village in southern Morocco.
