Day 1: Arrival in Casablanca<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

\u00a0Upon arrival at Mohammed V International Airport in Casablanca<\/strong>, you will be greeted by our driver and transferred to your hotel. 2nd Day: Visit of Tangier and Chefchaouen<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

After breakfast, departure for the\u00a0 Medina of Tangier <\/a>, a labyrinth of narrow streets with the Kasbah where the beautiful seventeenth-century palace of the Sultan is located, today home to an important museum. The Medina of Tangier<\/strong> has always been a source of inspiration for many artists such as Paul Bowles, Eug\u00e8ne Delacroix, Henri Matisse and William Burroughs. After the visit, continue to\u00a0 Chefchaouen <\/a><\/strong>, considered one of the most beautiful cities of the Rif massif, the last mountainous bastion before the Mediterranean and the Iberian Peninsula. Chefchaouen<\/strong> is famous for its ancient Medina with its maze of alleys and narrow streets, and its white buildings with blue doors and windows. After the visit of the Medina, continue to the famous souk with its Moroccan products such as traditional clothes, straw hats and terracotta vases.<\/span><\/p>\n

After breakfast, a short tour of Chefchaouen<\/strong> , then departure towards the south, with a stop in\u00a0 Mekn\u00e8s<\/a><\/strong> , the smallest of the Imperial Cities, nicknamed the Versailles of Morocco<\/strong>. Here the sultan Moulay Ismail transformed it into the capital of the Kingdom in 1672, endowing it with splendid architecture, gold and ceramics. Visit of the city with a stop at the imposing Bab El-Mansour<\/strong> and the central square, without forgetting the granaries and the Agdal basin. 4th Day: Visit of Fez<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

After breakfast, an official guide will pick you up directly at the riad to begin the visit of the historic districts of Fez. You will admire the most famous buildings, such as the Bab Boujeloud and the\u00a0 Medersa Bou Inania<\/a><\/strong> , the Foundouk of the Carpenters, Seffarine Square and the souks. You will visit the tanners’ district, known as the\u00a0 Chouwara <\/strong><\/a>Tanneries<\/strong> <\/a>, where artisans still work the leather by hand, and finally the mellah, the former Jewish quarter. 5th Day: Fez, Ifrane, Cedar Forest (Azrou), Midelt, Ziz Valley<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Early morning departure after breakfast. Leaving Fez, you will cross several Berber villages and the wonderful\u00a0 valley of holm oaks <\/a>\u00a0that will lead you to\u00a0 Ifrane<\/strong><\/a> , the “little Switzerland of Morocco<\/strong>“. Stop in Ifrane, then continue to the heart of the Middle Atlas, to admire the largest cedar forest in the world and meet the Berber macaques. Continue to\u00a0 Midelt <\/a>, the “city of apples”, for a lunch stop. Departure via the Tizi-n-Thalrhemt pass, for a long descent into the\u00a0 Ziz Valley<\/a><\/strong> .
\nPassage through the Legionnaire Tunnel and along the natural basin of Al-Hassan Addakhil<\/strong>. Arrival in\u00a0 Erfoud<\/strong><\/a> , from where you will begin to glimpse the <\/strong>Erg Chebbi<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong> in the distance, and finally arrival in\u00a0 Merzouga<\/a><\/strong> , where a beautiful hotel at the foot of the Sahara<\/strong> will welcome you for dinner and overnight stay.<\/span><\/p>\n

Day 6: Merzouga, Rissani, Khamlia Village, Visit to the Nomads <\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

After breakfast, visit\u00a0 Rissani <\/a>\u00a0with its local market, a place with an authentic atmosphere, different from other souks in Morocco. Visit a Berber pharmacy and the spice section, with tasting of local dates. If you are here on a Tuesday, Thursday or Sunday, you can observe the desert nomads at the bazaar.
\nContinue to\u00a0 Khamlia <\/a>, a community founded by people from Central Africa, to enjoy Gnawa music. Lunch in Khamlia with the famous Berber pizza, Medfouna. Visit a nomad camp, followed by an excursion into the \u201cblack desert\u201d and a panoramic view of the Sahara. Return to Merzouga and departure on the back of a dromedary through the dunes of Erg Chebbi to reach the tented camp, where a typical dinner and an evening under the stars await you, with drums and stories of the desert nomads.<\/span><\/p>\n

7th Day: Merzouga, Todra Gorges, Dades Valley <\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

In the morning, after admiring the sunrise in the desert, breakfast and departure from the tented camp towards\u00a0 Tinejdad <\/a>, to then reach the famous\u00a0 Todra Gorges <\/a>. Short excursion and lunch in a restaurant surrounded by greenery. Continue to the\u00a0 Dades Valley <\/a>, with a stop in a panoramic hotel for dinner and overnight stay.<\/span><\/p>\n
