Day 1: Marrakech – Ouarzazate – Zagora

The 2-day tour from Marrakech to Zagora departs early in the morning from the Riad. We will cross the High Atlas mountain range, admiring its breathtaking landscapes, before heading to the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site, known for films like “The Mummy” and “Gladiator.” After the visit, we will have lunch in Ouarzazate, often referred to as “The Gateway to the Desert,” and continue to the Draa Valley, crossing the Anti-Atlas mountains, a backdrop in the film “Babel.” Upon reaching Zagora, we will take a camel trek into the desert, where we will spend the night in a nomadic camp. A traditional dinner will be served, followed by musical entertainment, with the opportunity to stargaze in the desert sky.

Day 2: Zagora – Agdz – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

Witness a magical sunrise in the desert as the sun illuminates the valley of palm trees. After breakfast, we will retrace our route from the previous day. After passing through Tansikht, we will take a dirt road through the Draa Valley, passing by the Glaoui Kasbahs, until we reach Tamnougalt. Here, we can visit the famous Kasbah, which served as the backdrop for the film “The Sheltering Sky.” We will have lunch there and then return to Marrakech, once again passing through Ouarzazate.
