Day 1 Tour of Morocco : Arrival in Marrakech 15 Days tour in Morocco

Day 2: Marrakech / Meknes

After breakfast, departure from Marrakech towards Meknes, the smallest of the imperial cities. The visit will start by crossing Bab Mansour, the most important gate in Meknes. From there, proceed to the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, where appropriate clothing is required. Then visit the Hri Moulay Ismail granaries, an important monument of the imperial city. Day 3: Meknes / Volubulis / Fes

After breakfast, depart from Meknes towards Fes, with a visit to the old city of Fes (Fes el-Bali) and its medina, the largest and most famous in the Arab world. Enter through Bab Boujloud, the most famous gate, and head towards Dar Batha, an Hispano-Moorish building housing a popular art museum. Continue with a visit to the Bou Inania Madrasa, a Koranic school with a magnificent patio. Dinner in a local restaurant, accommodation in a hotel with a swimming pool.

Day 4: Fes / Ifrane / Azrou / Midelt / Merzouga

After breakfast, depart for Ifrane, an exceptional site at 1650 meters, nicknamed the “Switzerland of Morocco,” where you can see storks nesting on rooftops. After a walk in Ifrane, head towards Merzouga in the Sahara Desert. The first village along the way is Azrou, of Berber origin, located in a 53,000-hectare natural park with cedar and oak forests. Azrou is also famous for its monkeys. Continue through the Ziz Gorges to Er-Rachidia and then to Rissani, the gateway to the desert. Arrive in Merzouga in the late afternoon, settle into a typical riad with a swimming pool, and enjoy a sunset walk on the nearby Erg Chebbi dunes. Day 5 Tour of Morocco : Merzouga 15 Days tour in Morocco

After breakfast and a refreshing dip in the pool, you will take the car for a tour to the caves where the natural fossils of the desert are found, then you will pass through the small and ancient village of Tissrdmin where many films have been shot, taking the road where we also pass the Paris Dakar rally and we pass through the black desert with its volcanic stones where we will have tea with a Tuareg family.
We then arrive at the village of Kamlia, famous for its inhabitants from black Africa and for their music. This village is also very famous for the music and dance festival that takes place every year during the first week of August. From here we will go to see Dayet Srji lake with its pink flamingos. We will then return to Rissani where we will eat Berber pizza with its 44 spices with a Tuareg family, with whom we will learn about traditions, uses and customs and we will be shown the objects that arrive here with the caravans. Rissani was once the economic capital of Morocco and the center of caravans leaving for the desert. We will then visit the Kasbahs of this town.

Day 6: Merzouga / Todra Gorges / Dadés Valley

We will take the road to the Todra gorges, where the film Lawrence of Arabia was filmed, among the most beautiful in southern Morocco.

Here we will also stop for lunch and from here towards Boumalne Dadès from where the 25 km long valley of the same name begins and reaches the gorges, where we will take a walk in the midst of luxuriant and green vegetation in contrast with the surrounding red rock, and where the pisé constructions take on the same color as the rocks. Along this valley there is a succession of ksours, in the heart of cultivated fields and fruit orchards. From here you continue up to the Dadés gorges. Day 7: Gorges of Dadés / Valley of Roses / Ouarzazate

After breakfast, continue through the valley of roses, taking the road of the 1000 kasbahs, the typical constructions of southern Morocco. We will stop in the main city of this valley, El-Kalaa M’Gouna, famous precisely for the flowering of this flower from which many body care products are obtained. We will also visit a laboratory for the extraction of this precious essence. From here we will head towards Skoura to visit the kasbahs of this area and stop for lunch.

From here you will go to Ouarzazate to visit the largest and most famous film studios in all of Africa, the Atlas Studios, where films such as Gladiator were shot and then the Taourirt kasbah, also in Ouarzazate. We will then continue to the kasbah of Ait Benhaddou. Day 08: Ouarzazate / the Ouzoud waterfalls

After breakfast departure for the visit of the city of Ouarzazate: the Kasbah of Taourirt; film studios; the kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. then take the road in the direction of Demnate, taking the Tizi-n-Outfi pass (2150 m) which crosses the middle Atlas mountains and the many Berber villages along the way. Here the landscape and the colors of the mountains change continuously even with the passage of time and therefore of sunlight, from ocher to pink to red to petroleum blue. We will make a stop at Imi-n-Ifri, the mouth of the caves in Berber, where we will walk and can take spectacular photographs.

From here, always continuing to cross the Middle Atlas, you will arrive at the splendid Ouzoud waterfalls, 110 m high, considered one of the most beautiful places to visit in Morocco.
