Morocco 8 Day Tour Morocco Imperial Cities And Desert Tour
DAY 1 : All arrive /MARRAKECH
Upon arrival, transfer and accommodation in the hotel. Dinner and overnight.
DAY 2 : MARRAKECH/BENI MELLAL/FES (ABOUT KM 490)
After breakfast departure by coach to Fes, via Beni Mellal, Khenifra, Azrou. Lunch in Khenifra. Arrival in Fes, accommodation in hotel, dinner and overnight.
DAY 3 : EDF
Breakfast and dinner at the hotel. Whole day dedicated to visiting the city: the Royal Palace (exterior), Fes El Djedid, visit and historical explanations of the Mederse Bou Anania and Sahrij, the Karaouine Mosque (exterior), the Nejjarine Museum, the colorful souks. Lunch in a typical restaurant in the Medina.
DAY 4 : FES/MIDELT/ERFOUD (ABOUT 440 KM)
After breakfast, continuation to Midelt, a town at an altitude of 1500 metres. Stop for lunch. In the afternoon continuation to Erfoud, where we will arrive in the evening.
Optional excursion by Land Rover to the dunes of Merzouga to watch the sunset or the sunrise the next day. Hotel accommodation, dinner and overnight.
DAY 5 : ERFOUD/TINERHIR/OUARZAZATE (ABOUT KM 350)
After breakfast departure to Tinerhir, via Boumalne. Stop to visit the Todra gorges, impressive fissures in red rock walls 300 meters high. Lunch in a restaurant and continuation to Ouarzazate. Stop to visit the Kasbah of Taourirt. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
DAY 6 : OUARZAZATE/MARRAKECH (KM 200)
Early breakfast. Departure to visit the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a Unesco world heritage site, with its red clay houses. After crossing the Tizi n’ Tichka pass at 2260 m. altitude arrival in Marrakech and lunch. In the afternoon orientation visit of the souks with the famous Djemaa El Fna square. In the evening typical dinner with belly dance show in a Moroccan restaurant, return to the hotel for overnight.
DAY 7 : MARRAKECH
Lunch at the hotel. Day dedicated to deepening the visit of the city with its most important monuments: the Bahia Palace, the Saadian tombs, the Dar Si Said museum. Free or optional dinner under the tents, with “Fantasy” show for a fee.
DAY 8 : MARRAKECH/ITALY
After breakfast, transfer to the airport
