Day 1:  Marrakech-Menara Airport Tour 15 days in Morocco

Arrival at Marrakech-Menara Airport , known for its architecture that combines tradition and modernity. Transfer to the hotel in the heart of  Marrakech . During the journey, you will have a first impression of the city with its lively streets and gardens. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: MARRAKECH – THE VISIT

Morning dedicated to visiting  Marrakech , the red city called “the pearl of the south”, imperial capital in the 11th century. Its monuments, richly decorated with fine stucco, mosaics and marble, bear witness to the richness of this city’s past. The old city, or  medina , is enclosed by mighty ochre-colored walls, which stand out against the breathtaking backdrop of the Atlas mountains  and stand out among the lush greenery of the palm groves. Day 3: MARRAKECH / OUARZAZATE

Departure towards the High Atlas ; after the Tizi n’Tichka pass , the “Pass of the Pastures”, located at over 2,200 meters, we leave the main road to reach  Telouèt  and its imposing  kasbah , built by the Pasha of Marrakech at the beginning of the 20th century. Lunch. Shortly after begins the spectacular “Salt Trail” (only if weather conditions permit), the ancient caravan route that leads directly to  Ait Benhaddou , one of the best preserved kasbahs in southern Morocco. Visit to the imposing  ksar , backdrop to many film productions. Continue to  Ouarzazate , visit the kasbah of  Taourirt , another sumptuous residence of the Pasha Glaoui. Day 4: OUARZAZATE / TINEGHIR

The day is dedicated to the splendid panoramas of the mountain oases: we visit the ancient kasbah of  Amerhidil , we travel through the  Dadès valley  with its fortified houses and the “Rose Trail”, dotted with small earthen villages against the backdrop of the High Atlas mountains. Lunch in a village with incredibly decorated earthen buildings. A short excursion to the Dadès gorges  and  we continue to  Tineghir , famous for its large and lush palm grove, where it is nice to take a relaxing walk. Dinner and overnight stay in a hotel.

Day 5: TINEGHIR / MERZOUGA

On departure visit of the  Todra Gorges , narrow and spectacular stone corridor dug by the river in the mountain. A short detour to  Goulmima  allows you to visit an ancient fortified village and its palm grove. Lunch. In the afternoon continue towards  Erfoud  and on track to  Merzouga , outpost of the Saharan desert. Day 6: MERZOUGA / TAZZARINE / NEKOB

Departure to visit the ancient  ksar of Rissani , cradle of the  Alaouite dynasty  and heir of the ancient  Sijilmassa , its palm grove and a deposit of marine fossils. Continuation to the oasis of  Tazzarine , which with  Alnif , was a stop on the caravan routes of the South. Lunch. In the afternoon, continuation on a track towards a canyon beyond which lies  Ait Ouazik , one of the oldest rock sites in Morocco, with elegant depictions of felines, gazelles and characters in hunting poses. Return to Tazzarine and continuation to  Nekob . Dinner and overnight stay.

Giorno 7 : NEKOB / ZAGORA Tour 15 days in Morocco

Nekob is a village with beautiful kasbahs at the foot of the volcanic massif of  Jebel Sarhro , with its spires and pinnacles eroded by the wind. This itinerary is truly superb and takes place through a basalt massif of remarkable beauty, which contrasts with the intense green of the oases. You reach the  Draa Valley , dotted with typical fortified villages built of earth and straw, and visit the ancient capital of the valley: the village of  Tamnougalt . Lunch. In  Tinzouline  you make a short detour to visit the site of rock carvings dating back to the time when the Libyan-Berber horsemen were the lords of the south. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 8: ZAGORA / CHEGAGA DUNES

After breakfast, we descend to  Mhamid  where the Draa disappears under the sands and the crossing of the Erg Chegaga  (sand desert) begins, still frequented by nomadic shepherds. Before leaving the Draa Valley, lunch in an earthen kasbah with a family of sedentary nomads. Start of the track towards the pre-arranged camp. Day 9: CHEGAGA DUNES / TATA

Continuation to  Tata . Along the track, which crosses the bottom of a now dry lake, Lake  Iriki , bordered to the north by the  Jebel Bani wall , we reach  Foum Zguid , where we find the asphalt again. The region is among the most deserted in the South, however the rock art  (engravings with animal figures) tells us that in prehistoric times the climate was much more favorable. Day 10: Tata Tour 15 days in Morocco

Visit to the Tata region. The South has known human settlements since prehistoric times: visit to some sites where Neolithic art  is represented with great elegance (engravings and cave paintings) and to the thermal springs. Day 11: TATA / TAROUDANT

Departure for  Taroudant . The itinerary is the furthest from the usual tourist circuits, crossing the  Jebel Siroua , an ancient extinct volcano, the landscape is very suggestive, with basaltic formations shaped by erosion that alternate with cultivated fields and small villages. Lunch. In the afternoon arrival in  Taroudant , one of the oldest cities in  Morocco , surrounded by mighty walls and dominated by the Atlas mountain range . Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 12: TAROUDANT / AGADIR

Departure for  Agadir , the “San Remo” of Morocco, considered the capital of seaside tourism. Along the way, visit the city’s kasbah, where you can enjoy a beautiful panoramic view. Arrival and hotel accommodation. Lunch. Free afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 13: AGADIR Tour 15 days in Morocco

Full day dedicated to relaxation: walks in the city center or along the beach. Possibility to participate in one of the many optional excursions. Lunch. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 14: AGADIR / ESSAOUIRA

Departure for  Essaouira . Situated on a strip of land that juts out into the ocean, the Portuguese citadel of Essaouira is a true gem: beyond the fortified stone walls lies the  medina , with narrow streets adorned with  souks  and  riads . Day 15: ESSAOUIRA / MARRAKECH
