Details of the Tour organized from Tangier to the desert 2025

Day 1: Arrival in Casablanca

 Upon arrival at Mohammed V International Airport in Casablanca, you will be greeted by our driver and transferred to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you can visit the famous  Hassan II Mosque  and take a walk along the  Ain Diab Corniche . Free dinner and overnight at the hotel.

2nd Day: Visit of Tangier and Chefchaouen

---

After breakfast, departure for the  Medina of Tangier , a labyrinth of narrow streets with the Kasbah where the beautiful seventeenth-century palace of the Sultan is located, today home to an important museum. The Medina of Tangier has always been a source of inspiration for many artists such as Paul Bowles, Eugène Delacroix, Henri Matisse and William Burroughs. After the visit, continue to  Chefchaouen , considered one of the most beautiful cities of the Rif massif, the last mountainous bastion before the Mediterranean and the Iberian Peninsula. Chefchaouen is famous for its ancient Medina with its maze of alleys and narrow streets, and its white buildings with blue doors and windows. After the visit of the Medina, continue to the famous souk with its Moroccan products such as traditional clothes, straw hats and terracotta vases.

3rd Day Tour organized 2025 : Chefchaouen – Meknès – Fez

---

After breakfast, a short tour of Chefchaouen , then departure towards the south, with a stop in  Meknès , the smallest of the Imperial Cities, nicknamed the Versailles of Morocco. Here the sultan Moulay Ismail transformed it into the capital of the Kingdom in 1672, endowing it with splendid architecture, gold and ceramics. Visit of the city with a stop at the imposing Bab El-Mansour and the central square, without forgetting the granaries and the Agdal basin. Continue towards  Fez , where you will arrive in the afternoon. Free dinner and overnight stay in a riad.

4th Day: Visit of Fez

After breakfast, an official guide will pick you up directly at the riad to begin the visit of the historic districts of Fez. You will admire the most famous buildings, such as the Bab Boujeloud and the  Medersa Bou Inania , the Foundouk of the Carpenters, Seffarine Square and the souks. You will visit the tanners’ district, known as the  Chouwara Tanneries , where artisans still work the leather by hand, and finally the mellah, the former Jewish quarter. Rest of the day free. Free dinner and overnight stay in the riad.

5th Day: Fez, Ifrane, Cedar Forest (Azrou), Midelt, Ziz Valley

Early morning departure after breakfast. Leaving Fez, you will cross several Berber villages and the wonderful  valley of holm oaks  that will lead you to  Ifrane , the “little Switzerland of Morocco“. Stop in Ifrane, then continue to the heart of the Middle Atlas, to admire the largest cedar forest in the world and meet the Berber macaques. Continue to  Midelt , the “city of apples”, for a lunch stop. Departure via the Tizi-n-Thalrhemt pass, for a long descent into the  Ziz Valley .
Passage through the Legionnaire Tunnel and along the natural basin of Al-Hassan Addakhil. Arrival in  Erfoud , from where you will begin to glimpse the Erg Chebbi  in the distance, and finally arrival in  Merzouga , where a beautiful hotel at the foot of the Sahara will welcome you for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Merzouga, Rissani, Khamlia Village, Visit to the Nomads

After breakfast, visit  Rissani  with its local market, a place with an authentic atmosphere, different from other souks in Morocco. Visit a Berber pharmacy and the spice section, with tasting of local dates. If you are here on a Tuesday, Thursday or Sunday, you can observe the desert nomads at the bazaar.
Continue to  Khamlia , a community founded by people from Central Africa, to enjoy Gnawa music. Lunch in Khamlia with the famous Berber pizza, Medfouna. Visit a nomad camp, followed by an excursion into the “black desert” and a panoramic view of the Sahara. Return to Merzouga and departure on the back of a dromedary through the dunes of Erg Chebbi to reach the tented camp, where a typical dinner and an evening under the stars await you, with drums and stories of the desert nomads.

7th Day: Merzouga, Todra Gorges, Dades Valley

In the morning, after admiring the sunrise in the desert, breakfast and departure from the tented camp towards  Tinejdad , to then reach the famous  Todra Gorges . Short excursion and lunch in a restaurant surrounded by greenery. Continue to the  Dades Valley , with a stop in a panoramic hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8: Dades Valley, Ouarzazate, Ksar of Ait-Ben-Haddou, High Atlas, Marrakech

After breakfast, departure for  El Kelaat M’Gouna , in the Valley of the Roses, to visit a local workers’ association. Continue to  Ouarzazate  and visit the famous  Ksar of Ait-Ben-Haddou . After lunch, crossing the High Atlas mountains , passing through the Tizi n’Tichka pass. Arrival in  Marrakech  in the late afternoon and transfer to the riad

9th Day: Marrakech

After breakfast, guided tour of Marrakech, starting from the famous  Jemaa El Fna square , continuing to the  Kotoubia Mosque  and other monuments such as the  Ben Youssef Medersa ,  El Badi Palace , Bahia Palace , the  Saadian Tombs  and Bab Agnau. Rest of the day free. Free dinner and overnight stay in a riad.

10th Day: Marrakech / Essaouira

After breakfast, departure for  Essaouira  (about 3 hours of travel). Arrival and accommodation in the hotel, with the possibility of a walk, a traditional hammam and/or a massage with argan oil. Exploration of the city of art and relaxation.

11th Day: Essaouira – Marrakech

---

The visit of the old town of  Mogador  , the old name of  Essaouira  , you look at the  port  , one of the ends of the most souls of the town, dedicated mainly to the pêche. Continue towards the old town and pass by the  port of the Marina  and the  place du port  , to access a bridge through the upper part of the walls, and continue towards the  place of the Kasbah  . After the visit, departure for the return to  Marrakech  .

Along the route, access point 15 km from  Agadir,  press a  female cooperative  here to use the traditional techniques of cells that are not passed by among all the new generations. It is possible to purchase the famous  argan oil  and other food and beauty products, produced in the competitive price zone, also contributing to improving the social status of women in the region. Return to Marrakech , free dinner and overnight stay in the riad
