1 day in Tangier, reception in APT and transfer to the riad
Reception at Tangier-Ibn Battuta airport. Free dinner and overnight in riad.

Day 2 : the view of Tangier, Chefchaoun
After breakfast we go to the Medina of Tangier is a labyrinth of narrow streets and in the Kasbah there is the beautiful seventeenth-century palace of the sultan, now home to an important museum. The Medina of Tangier has always fascinated and is a source of inspiration for artists: many famous writers such as Paul Bowles, Eugène Delacroix, Henri Matisse and William Burroughs visited it and felt it was their home … then off to the city of Chefchaouen, considered one of the most beautiful cities of the Rif mountain massif, the last mountainous bastion before the Mediterranean and the Iberian Peninsula. Chefchaouen is famous for the ancient Medina with its maze of vehicles and narrow streets and its white buildings with blue doors and windows. After the visit of the Medina, we will continue to the famous suok with its Moroccan products such as traditional clothes, straw hats and terracotta vases. Day 3  : Chefchaoun – Makenes – Fez
After breakfast, a short ride in chefchaoun  then the road heading south, until we arrive and stop in Meknés, the smallest of the Imperial Cities. Nicknamed the Versailles of Morocco, it was the sultan Moulay Ismail who gave it the riches that make it so fascinating in 1672 when he made it the capital of the Kingdom, endowing it with splendid architecture, gold and ceramics. We will make a short stop, being able to admire the imposing Bab El-Monseur and the central square, without forgetting the granaries and the Agdal basin. We will then leave in the direction of Fes, where we will arrive in the afternoon. Free dinner and overnight in riad.

4  Day : The  visit of Fés
After breakfast, an official guide will come to pick you up directly at the riad and you will thus begin the visit of the historic districts of Fés. You will be able to admire the most famous buildings, such as the famous Bab Boujeloud and the Medersa Bou Inania, the Foundouk of the Carpenters, Piazza Seffarine square and stroll in the souqs. You will then reach the tanners’ quarter, known as the Chouwara Tanneries, where you can observe the artisans who still carry out the leather manufacturing processes manually and finally the mellah, or the former Jewish quarter. Rest of the day free. Free dinner and overnight in riad.

Day 5 : Fés, Ifrane, Cedar Forest (Azrou), Midelt, Ziz Valley,
Al-Hassan Addakkil basin, Errachidia, Tafilalet Oasis, Erfoud, Merzouga, Erg Chebbi desert (km 468)

We will leave early in the morning and we will pick you up directly at the riad after you have had breakfast. Leaving Fes behind us we will begin this adventure passing through several Berber villages and going up a wonderful valley of holm oaks which will lead us to Ifrane, the “little Switzerland of Morocco”. We will make a short stop and then we will take the car again until we reach the heart of the Middle Atlas, where we will be able to admire the largest cedar forest in the world and socialize with the Berber macaques, the community of monkeys that populate the plateau in complete freedom. We will then continue to Midelt, the city of apples” and we will stop for lunch. We will then take the road again and, after passing the Tizi-n-Thalrhemt pass, we will begin a long descent into the Ziz Valley. We will find ourselves in front of cultivated fields and lush, which as we get closer to Errachidia will instead be replaced by barren and desert areas. We will pass through the Tunnel of the Legionnaire and then we will flank the natural basin of Al-Hassan Addakhil, a turquoise descent in the middle of a stony landscape with ocher tones. We will then reach l he imposing oasis of Tafilalet and we will still have a short way before reaching Erfoud.Here we will begin to glimpse the Erg Chebbi appearing in the distance and we will finally arrive in Merzouga, where a beautiful hotel at the foot of the Sahara will welcome us for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Merzouga, Rissani, Khamlia village, visit the Nomads,
Erg Chebbi desert (km 85) After a leisurely breakfast we will head to Rissani and enter the local market, a place where an authentic atmosphere still reigns, very different from that present in all the other Moroccan souks. We will visit a Berber pharmacy, the section dedicated to spices, we will taste the dates coming from the surrounding oases and much more. If we are lucky enough to be here on a Tuesday, Thursday or Sunday, we will be able to observe the nomads of the desert who go to the bazaar these days to sell sheep, goats and donkeys and buy fruit, vegetables and clothes with the proceeds. We will then go to Khamlia, a small community at the foot of Erg Chebbi founded by people originally from Central Africa. We will be able to appreciate the hypnotic rhythm and the mystical spirit of Gnawa music, the true essence of the place. We will also stop in the village for lunch and we will be able to taste the Medfouna, the famous Berber pizza. Then we will reach a nomad camp, we will be hosted in a tent by a family and we will spend a few hours in their company. We will also visit the so-called “black desert” and we will be able to admire the Sahara desert from above. We will then return to Merzouga and riding your dromedaries you will enter the orange dunes of Erg Chebbi. You will reach the highest and you will be able to enjoy a sunset never seen before. You will then arrive at the tented camp, you will be greeted by a typical glass of Berber tea and you will find your luggage directly in your tent (which, despite being in the middle of the desert, will be equipped with every comfort). You will then have time to relax and get ready to enjoy a typical dinner based on Moroccan specialties. We will spend the evening under the starry sky of the Sahara, huddling around a bonfire where the nomads of the desert will come to enchant us with drums and stories about their ancient traditions. Day 7 : Erg Chebbi desert, Merzouga, Erfoud, Tinejdad, Tinghir,
Todra Gorges, Dades Valley (km 266) In the morning, after admiring the enchanting play of light at dawn, there will be time to have breakfast and to enjoy a little more of the colors that the desert offers at this hour. We will then leave the tented camp, we will take the car again and passing by the town of Tinejdad we will begin to take the road that will take us to Tinghir. We will reach the famous Todra Gorges, dug by the waters over the millennia and over 300 meters high. We will take a small excursion here and stop to eat in a restaurant surrounded by greenery. We will leave again crossing an area full of palm trees, cultivated fields and countless kasbahs. We will then proceed to the enchanting Dades Valley, dotted with red clay houses that blend wonderfully with hills of the same color. We will then reach a beautiful panoramic hotel, where we will stop for dinner and overnight.

Day 8 : Dades Valley, El Kelaat M’Gouna, Valley of the Roses, Oasis of
Skoura, Ourzazate, Ksar of Ait-Ben-Haddou, High Atlas, Tizi n’Tichka pass, Marrakech (km 324) After having regenerated body and mind with a rich breakfast, we will reload our luggage, resume our journey and reach the town of El Kelaat M’Gouna, in the Valley of the Roses. This area is famous for the cultivation of the centifolia rose, whose legend has it that they arrived here thanks to the work of pilgrims who, returning from Mecca, had bought some seeds in Damascus. It will be possible to visit an association of local workers, where the petals are transformed into creams, essences and edible products. We will then continue skirting the Oasis of Skoura up to Ourzazate, located exactly at the crossroads of the traditional connections between north and south of Morocco. From there we will soon reach the famous Ksar of Ait-Ben-Haddou, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987.
We will visit it and leave again after lunch, heading to the High Atlas Mountains. We will travel along a suggestive panoramic road, we will cross several Berber villages and we will have the opportunity to observe a particular and different flow of everyday life. We will then arrive at the famous Tizi n’Tichka pass (2260 meters above sea level) and stop to enjoy the view. We will also meet several Female Argan Oil Cooperatives, where we will be able to stop to witness the manufacturing processes still carried out manually today. We will reach Marrakech in the late afternoon and we will take you directly to the riad.

Day 9 : Marrakech
In the morning, after having breakfast, an official guide will join you directly in the riad and you will thus begin the visit of Marrakech. You will head towards the famous Jemaa El Fna square, the beating heart of the city, which became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2001, then continuing to the Kotoubia Mosque, being able to admire its imposing 70-metre-high minaret. You will then visit other innumerable and surprising monuments, such as the Ben Youssef Medersa, the largest Koranic school in all of Morocco, the imposing El Badi Palace and the sumptuous Bahia Palace. There will also be the opportunity to go to the Saadian Tombs (elegant mausoleum of the dynasty of the same name) and to admire Bab Agnau, the only perfectly preserved gate in the walls. You will then visit the souk, mingle with the locals and get in touch with the essence of daily life. The rest of the day will be completely free, you can perhaps take another tour of the medina neighborhoods and have fun haggling to bring home the last souvenirs, without forgetting to admire the sunset on one of the splendid terraces overlooking Jaama el-Fna . Day 10: Marrakech / Essaouira:
After breakfast we will leave for Essaouira 3 hours by road We arrive in Essaouira and leave directly to the hotel to leave our bags and go for a walk. For those who wish, in the afternoon it is possible to have a traditional hammam and/or a massage with argan oil. After a journey of about 3 hours you will arrive in the other splendid town of Essaouira, directly overlooking the sea, where you will breathe the exceptional atmosphere of a city of art which has prompted many foreign artists to move here, even permanently. Movies such as Alexander or The Crusades have also been filmed here. After arriving and relaxing in the riad, you will go out for free dinner. and Accommodation in Riad

Day 11: Essaouira – MarrakechThe visit of the ancient city of Mogador, this was the old name of Essaouira, will start from the port, mainly dedicated to fishing, and one of the busiest places in the city, and you will then arrive at the city itself through the port of the Marina and the Sqala of the port, from where you can access the upper part of the walls via a staircase and continuing to the Sqala of the Casba. Then return  for the return to Marrakech, stopping _along the way 15 km from agadir in a women’s cooperative where the techniques of the grandmothers have been passed on to the new generations, and where it is possible to buy the famous Argan oil (and other food and beauty products), which is produced in the area, at competitions also helping the women of the region to increase their social status. Then return to Marrakech, free dinner and overnight in a riad.

Day 12 : Marrakech – Marrakech
