Day 1: Agadir – Taroudant – Taliouine – Agdez – Tamnougalt Agadir to Desert tours

The journey begins in the morning, departing from Agadir heading towards Taliouine, known as the saffron capital. You will pass through valleys filled with almond trees and Berber villages, with a stop at the Kasbah Ibn Toummert to enjoy the renowned saffron tea. After lunch in Taznakht, you will cross the Bouazar mountains, rich in gold mines, to reach Tamnougalt, where you will spend the night in a traditional riad.

Day 2: Tamnougalt – Afra – Tissrgat – Tamgrout – Zagora

After breakfast, you will explore the historic Kasbah of Tamnougalt with a local guide. Next, you will drive along a dirt road through the picturesque Draa Valley, populated by small Glaoui villages. After lunch in the traditional Ksar at Tissrgat, you will visit a Berber and African art museum. In Tamegroute, you will explore a 12th-century Quranic library, an underground village, and pottery workshops. In the evening, you will reach Zagora, where you will ride a camel to reach the desert camp and spend the night in a private Berber tent.

Day 3: Zagora – Agdez – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

The morning starts with breakfast at the camp, followed by a return to the vehicle by camel. You will cross the Ait Saoun mountains to reach Ouarzazate, known as “Africa’s Hollywood” for its famous film studios, sets for movies like “Gladiator” and “The Mummy”. Visit the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site, before continuing through the enchanting High Atlas mountain range. You will arrive in Marrakech in the evening, where you will stay in a riad located near the lively Jemaa el-Fna square.
