Tour Details for imperial cities in Morroco
Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech Tour imperial cities
Transfer from the airport to riad based on your arrival time. (If you arrive in the morning, there’s time to visit the city already on the first day, otherwise the actual visit to the city is postponed until you return to Marrakech at the end of the tour) Dinner in a typical restaurant and Accommodation in a Riad.
Day 2 : visit – Marrakech
After breakfast, the visit of the imperial city Marrakech begins through its various suks: Suk Smata (the slippers), Suk Haddadine (the iron manufacturers), Suk Chouari (the basket makers), Suk Cherratine (where leather is worked), and the Jewelers’ Suk. From here, you will arrive at the Ben Youssef Madrasa, the largest and most beautiful Koranic school in the city, close to the Koutoubia Mosque and the Almoravid Koubba and the Museum of Marrakech, where we will pay a visit. Moving to another area of the city, you will visit the Bahia Palace, or the “beautiful” palace, nickname of the favorite, the rich residence of the vizier Ba Ahmed, built around 1880, and from here to the Dar Si-Said Palace, also a splendid residence of the vizier’s brother.
Near these two buildings, you can see the exterior of the El-Mansour Mosque, also known as the Kasbah Mosque, easily recognizable thanks to its minaret with turquoise arabesques. We then continue with a visit to the Saadian Tombs, whose garden belonged to the El-Mansour Mosque and houses the tombs of the rulers and family members of this dynasty. Return to the riad and dinner. After dinner, walk to the large Jamaa el-Fna Square where we will find its characteristic street vendors, who guarantee a continuous show. We will meet fortune tellers, snake charmers, musical groups, water carriers, and tattoo artists. Overnight in riad.
3 Day : Marrakech – Rabat -Meknes / Fes Tour Imperial Cities
After breakfast, departure for a visit to the city. We will enter the medina to get to the Hassan II Mosque, the largest and the only one that can be visited inside in the entire Maghreb. We will then leave for Meknes, the smallest of the imperial cities. The visit to this city will begin by crossing Bab Mansour, the most important and notable of the gates of Meknes. From here, we will proceed to the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum, where appropriate clothing is required.
Next, we will visit the Hri Moulay Ismail granaries; this grain depot is the most important monument of the imperial city, built with walls of beaten clay mixed with stones and straw (pisé). You will then enter the heart of the medina by crossing El-Hedim Square, visiting the market and the souks of Meknes. After the visit, departure from Meknes towards Fes. Dinner in a local restaurant and accommodation in a hotel.
4 Day : the visit / Fez Tour Imperial Cities
After breakfast, departure to visit the old city of Fes (Fes el-Bali) and its medina, the largest and most famous in the entire Arab world. Entering from Bab Boujloud, the most famous gate, we will head towards Dar Batha, a Hispanic-Moorish building that houses a beautiful museum of popular art. We will then continue with a visit to the Bou Inania Madrasa, the Koranic school of Fes, where young people studied the Koran in rooms, an oratory, and a magnificent patio. Dinner in a local restaurant and accommodation in a hotel.
5 Day : Fes / Ifrane / Midelt / Golee Di Ziz / Merzouga
After breakfast, we will leave for Ifrane, an exceptional site at 1650 meters, nicknamed the “Switzerland of Morocco,” where you can admire the storks that nest on the roofs of the houses. Then, you will take a walk in Ifrane before departing for Merzouga, in the Sahara Desert.
The first village you will encounter along the way is Azrou, of Berber origin, located in the heart of a 53,000-hectare natural park on a limestone plateau bordered by cedar and holm oak forests, amid ancient volcanoes. Azrou is also very famous for the presence of many monkeys in the surrounding forest. You will then continue along the road that climbs the Middle Atlas up to the Zad Pass and the town of Midelt at an altitude of 1488 meters. Midelt is not particularly touristic but is famous for its geological life, with crystalline structures.
From Midelt, the road continues through the beautiful Ziz gorges until it reaches Er-Rachidia, in the southern province. We then arrive in Rissani, the gateway to the desert and from here to Merzouga in the late afternoon, to settle down in a typical riad equipped with swimming pool, before sunset which can be admired from the nearby dunes of Erg Chebbi by taking a walk. Here a typical dinner is planned in front of a fire and to the rhythm of drums and songs of the Berber, Tuareg and southern Morocco populations. Dinner and accommodation in a typical riad
6 Day : Merzouga Tour Imperial Cities
After breakfast and a refreshing dip in the pool, you will take the car for a tour to the caves where the natural fossils of the desert are found. You will then pass through the small and ancient village of Tissrdmin, where many films have been shot, including those related to the Paris-Dakar Rally. As you travel, you will cross the Black Desert with its volcanic stones, where you will have tea with a Tuareg family.
We will then arrive at the village of Kamlia, famous for its inhabitants from Black Africa and their music. This village is also well-known for its music and dance festival, which takes place every year during the first week of August. From here, we will visit Lake Dayet Srji to see its pink flamingos.
We will then return to Rissani, where we will enjoy Berber pizza with its 44 spices, prepared by a Tuareg family. This will be an opportunity to learn about their traditions and customs and see the objects that arrive with the caravans. Rissani was once the economic capital of Morocco and the center of caravans heading into the desert. We will also visit the Kasbahs of this town.
Afterward, we will return to the hotel to relax before taking the camels. The camel journey begins after a relaxing lunch (depending on your arrival time). camels will be equipped with food, blankets, and other essentials. The excursion starts in the desert, which is truly incredible,The camel driver will lead us to a small oasis in the middle of the dunes, where we will spend the night.
7 Day : Merzouga / Todra Gorges / Rose Valley / Ouarzazate
Wake up early in the morning to see the sunrise and the different colors of the dunes compared to the sunset. You will then return to the hotel on camel back where, after a shower and breakfast, we will resume the tour in the south. We will take the road to the Todra gorges, where the film Lawrence of Arabia was filmed, among the most beautiful in southern Morocco.
Here we will also stop for lunch and from here to Boumalne Dadès from where the 25 km long valley of the same name begins and reaches the gorges, where we will take a walk in the midst of lush and verdant vegetation in contrast with the surrounding red rock, and where the pisé constructions take on the same color as the rocks. and from here towards the valley of roses, taking the road of the 1000 kasbahs, the typical constructions of southern Morocco.
We will stop in the main city of this valley, El-Kalaa M’Gouna, famous precisely for the flowering of this flower from which many body care products are obtained. We will also visit a laboratory for the extraction of this precious essence. From here we will head towards Skoura to visit the kasbahs of this area and stop for lunch. From here you will go to Ouarzazate In Ouarzazate you will spend the night in a very romantic riad where you will have dinner by the pool.
8 Day : Ouarzazate / Marrakech
After breakfast departure for the visit of the city of Ouarzazate: the Kasbah of Taourirt, film studios; the kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou and for a studio visit the largest and most famous film studios in all of Africa, the Atlas Studios, where films such as Gladiator were filmed and then the kasbah of Taourirt always in Ouarzazate. We will then continue to the kasbah of Ait Benhaddou. Here you can visit this famous kasbah, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site and which was the setting for the filming of films such as Gladiator, Babel, Lawrence of Arabia, The Legionnaire, Tea in the desert and many more.
then we will take the road in the n’Tichka Tizi Pass (2260 m) while enjoying a splendid view of the mountains and Berber villages We will then continue to Marrakech through the high Atlas Mountains we will arrive in Marrakech and we will visit the city and then Relax Max and afterwards we will leave in a place where the imagination of Morocco is made with all the different Berber musicians Folklore to get to know the traditions of Morocco, here you can see the dances it will be a beautiful evening dinner Here after dinner and in the evening we will return to Riad.
9th Day : Marrakech / free weather

10th Day : Marrakech – Airport
After breakfast, depending on the flight schedule, transfer to the airport. Assistance during boarding formalities. End of our service.
