Itinerary Marrakech Guided Tour

After breakfast (at 9 am), we begin our visit to the imperial city of Marrakech by exploring its various souks (Souk Smata – the slipper market, Souk Haddadine – the ironworkers’ market, Souk Chouari – the basket makers’ market, Souk Cherratine – where leather is worked, and the Jewelers’ Souk). From here, we will arrive at the Ben Youssef Madrasa, the largest and most beautiful Koranic school in the city, located near the mosque of the same name, the Almoravid Koubba, and the Marrakech Museum, all of which we will visit.

Next, we will move to another part of the city to visit the Bahia Palace, also known as the “Palace of the Beautiful,” a lavish residence built around 1880 by the vizier Ba Ahmed. From there, we will proceed to the Dar Si Said Palace, another splendid residence that belonged to the vizier’s brother. Near these two palaces, we will view the exterior of the El-Mansour Mosque, also known as the Kasbah Mosque, easily recognizable by its minaret adorned with turquoise arabesques.

We will then continue with a visit to the Saadian Tombs, whose garden once belonged to the El-Mansour Mosque. These tombs house the remains of rulers and family members of the Saadian dynasty. After the visit, we will return to the riad for dinner.

After dinner, we will take a walk to the famous Jamaa el-Fna square, where we will encounter its characteristic street vendors, who provide continuous entertainment. You’ll find fortune tellers, snake charmers, musical groups, water carriers, and tattoo artists. At the end of the tour, we will return to your hotel.

The tour consists of a day entirely dedicated to  Marrakech , the second city of Morocco and undoubtedly one of the most fascinating.

Madrasa Ben Youssef:  

We will continue to the  Madrasa Ben Youssef , the largest and most beautiful Koranic school in the city, close to the  Ben Youssef Mosque , the  Almoravid Koubba  and the  Marrakech Museum , where we will make a visit.

Bahia Palace:

Moving on to another area of ​​the city, we will visit the  Bahia Palace , the rich residence of the vizier Ba Ahmed, built around 1880.

Dar Si-Said Palace:

From here, we will head to  Dar Si-Said Palace , the splendid residence of the vizier’s brother.

El-Mansour Mosque:

Near these two palaces, we will admire the exterior of the  El-Mansour Mosque , also known as the Kasbah Mosque, easily recognizable thanks to its minaret with turquoise arabesques.

Saadian Tombs:

We will continue with a visit to the  Saadian Tombs , whose garden belonged to the El-Mansour mosque, which house the tombs of the sovereigns and relatives of this dynasty / Marrakech Guided Tour 2025
